Ran into appearently a common bug in the game on one of the missions. It's also stuck in my head, but at the same time I rather hate skrillex.
For Far Cry 3 on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Kicking The Hornets Nest save". After getting your mission updated, head to the field. Select the chapter or view the game index.
